About the chief
Hey y'all my name's Reed.
Born and raised in Denver, I'm currently attending school about two hours north of there. I didn't realize just how difficult it was going to be to adjust to living life without any real help from my family. It took me a few years to figure out, which is why I'd like to try and help with other people's transition a little bit. |
Growing up isn't easy. At age 23 there's still a lot of things I'm working on. I think the hardest ones were learning the real value of a dollar. When I first started out I was just blowing through cash — until I finally learned to shop effectively, cook healthy and easy meals, which allowed me to balance my time much better between work, school and leisure.
I'm here to show you how to live the good life without over working yourself. Back in the day I was working two jobs and going to school. I was running my life like a Jeep, where as now I'm running more like a Prius! We'll get into why this is important much later on.
The hardest part about running a high-intensity workout regiment is that your appetite kind of goes through the roof. As younger dude, about to "peak" as I move from adolescence towards adulthood, I want to be in the best shape of my life and live it with no regrets.
I want to help you get healthy — mentally and physically. Your diet is the best place to start. But don't think that this blog is only about food; Think about it as cooking your whole self. Right now we are all raw and unrefined. By the time we've moved on from here, we'll be toasted and crunchy and delicious. Not just the food we eat, but every single part of us — inside and out.
